Macmillan & Belazu Events 2015

Over the last month we have been lucky enough to be involved in some fantastic events for some amazing causes.
Over the last month we have been lucky enough to be involved in some fantastic events for some amazing causes, we have baked cakes for Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning’s that were held at both our Stoke Park Crèche and for a local primary school.
We made the first Christmas cake of the year which was auctioned off at the Coffee Morning at St Georges Primary School in order to raise some more money for Macmillan!
On Saturday 26th September we teamed up with Belazu, a Mediterranean food specialist company, at The Thame Foo
d Festival where we borrowed Christchurch church in the middle of the festival and we hosted a pop up restaurant. We took the equipment to the church on Friday night and quite literally transformed the venue overnight ready to welcome customers for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday.
It looked beautiful inside the church, the food was served, the wine was flowing and the whole day was fantastic and all in time to turn the church around, back to normal and ready for the Sunday Services! It was a huge success, attracting more than 190 people throughout the day and they all enjoyed a Mediterranean meal at a fantastic price with the money going to The Belazu Foundation.
It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in such lovely and fun events whilst raising funds for valuable charities. Thank you to anybody who attended any of our fundraising events and a huge thank you to our suppliers who kindly donated their products.
